This is our last day as citizens of Oslo. Tonight will be our last night. Tomorrow we move out of the city which has been my home for 16 years. It’s a weird feeling. I really love this city, but I’m longing for a walk in the garden in the morning. Drinking coffee on the porch. Letting Sofie out without having to follow her every second. Having the workshop next door. It’s a big change in our lives. I’m looking forward to it. Au revoir, Oslo.
Remodeling the new house is speeding up now (it better!) – We’re moving the 15th. Turned out that I had to pick up the kitchen myself (alone!) at Ikea yesterday evening. That was not a pleasant experience (I really hate beeing at that place). Carried app. 700 kilos two times. First to into the trailer, then into the house. The good thing is that it’s ready to assemble during the weekend. Now I just got to pick up the usual missing bits. Tonight I’ll try to finalize the drawings for the workshop. Tried to use Sketchup to model the landscape (with the Sandbox function) but have’nt had to much progress in that regards. Might have to sharpen a pencil and do it on paper…
